This Clear Quartz Earth Heart Pendant is crowned with a deep blue Iolite Trillion topstone. This beautiful pendant is set in a sterling silver basket setting and comes complete with its own sterling silver box chain in a velveteen jewelry box.
This unusual and beautiful new water clear quartz pendant was named Earth Heart Crystal because of its ability to create a "peaceful refuge in alignment with the deep and pure Heart of the Earth, revealing lessons in Oneness and facilitating humanity in achieving global consciousness."
When we first worked with this pendant, before the designers had come up with a name, I named it the Medicine Wheel because in working with it, I felt a strong connection to Native American traditions as well as a sense of deep protection, calm and access to my own Higher Wisdom, as well as being connected to a long line of Wisdom Keepers.
This lovely piece is perfectly clear with four planes of facets which converge to a central point imparting both a sense of stability and a sense of being centered. I would recommend this piece to anyone for Protection, Clarity, Inspiration or anyone doing Lightwork or Healing work.
Iolite is an extremely hard orthorhombic gemstone -- much harder than quartz crystal. Iolite commonly exhibits a brownish, blue color, and the more violet shades, such as you see in this specimen, are more desirable.
The word "iolite" comes from the Greek meaning "violet stone". Iolite is considered to resonate with a very high frequency energy signature, which corresponds to the violet color of the crown chakra in the Western chakra system. Thus Iolite is considered to be one of the premier gemstones for opening the third eye and crown chakras, and is said to stimulate clairaudience, clairsentience, and clairvoyance.
Iolite is also considered to be a stone useful in astral travel and shamanic journeying. In addition, Iolite is said to harmonize the male and female aspects within the bearer, to equilibrate the right and left hand sides of the brain, and to facilitate the harmonious expression of love within committed relationships.
Clear quartz has both piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties, so quartz crystals will respond to heat and pressure by changing their electrical polarities, and by radiating energies.
