The Radiant Heart pendant resembles a crystal lotus whose myriad flower petals hold and reflect brilliant light, giving the stone the appearance of a kaleidoscope.
Citrine is a form of quartz characterized by a yellow color, ranging from white to deep copper. Citrine's color is a result of iron impurities occurring naturally within the crystal. Citrine typically is formed as an amethyst which becomes heated to the point where the iron held within the crystal undergoes a further stage of oxidation.
Citrine is considered by metaphysical rock hounds to be a stone of strong protection because of its ability to cleanse the aura, and not hold onto negativity. It is said to never need clearing, however, Curtis and I always advise clearing any stone worn on your body. We often recommend to our Reiki and past life therapy clients that they wear a stone for auric protection. Citrine is also alleged to help with digestion, activate the thymus (regulates our immune system) as well as offering comfort and optimism. I must admit, that when I wear my citrine pendant, I have a great sense of well being and protection.
