Properties of Siberian Blue Quartz
Our jeweler recommended Siberian Blue Quartz to Jane and me, and although we normally do not sell laboratory grown quartz, we decided to trust our jeweler's experience and his crystal wisdom, born of many years of experience as a Lightworker and crystal cutter.
Siberian Blue Quartz is grown using a hydrothermal technique in a high temperature autoclave from a natural seed crystal. The laboratory method for producing quartz crystals mimics Nature's way of growing quartz crystals, using high temperature and high pressure water solutions. In a bit of modern-day alchemy, scientists add mineral impurities to the alkaline solution (often Sodium Hydroxide) that feeds the crystal's growth in the autoclave to create crystals with beautiful colors and energy signatures resonating with the power of the mineral additives.
Siberian Blue Quartz is created by the addition of Cobalt to the liquid mixture that feeds the seed crystal's growth in the laboratory. The cobalt imparts an amazing deep blue coloration to the quartz crystal.
The cobalt blue coloration of Siberian Blue Quartz resonates with the energy signature of the throat and third eye chakras, which are colored blue and indigo in the Western chakra system, so Siberian Blue Quartz activates and energizes those two vitally important chakras.

Because of its lack of a highly defined inner crystalline structure, obsidian can be fashioned into extremely thin and durable, super-sharp blades, and was used in prehistorical times for fashioning tools and weapons, while modern toolmakers create surgical scalpel blades with almost molecular thinness from this unique substance.

I was meditating with my Tibetan Blue-Green Obsidian meditation stone, which is rough and uncut, and the size of a quail egg, when I started to feel all the tiny muscles around my eyes relax. I continued to enjoy the feeling of muscles relaxing, and I realized as my legs and feet relaxed, that the reason I normally get sore after prolonged meditation is that I am still trying to push energy around while meditating. This makes my body tense up.

When the body feels that Flow, the body automatically begins to relax, and when the mind enters that Flow as well, then true meditation can begin.
