The overall structure of this gorgeous wand resembles the geometry of the laser wand, since it displays four large faces and two small faces on the termination tips. There is a tiny vertical window at the center of the male tip, which creates a tight, highly concentrated beam of amplified energy streaming from the wand, similar to a laser wand.
The curve in the shaft makes this large, heavy wand very comfortable to hold during lengthy Reiki or crystal healing sessions, and during meditation.

Personal Experience
Energetically, this powerful healing wand resembles a laser wand in some ways and an elestial wand in others.
Using this wand for Reiki treatments and in meditation, I have found that it delivers a strong, broad stream of exceptionally warm energy that connects first with the physical vehicle and then interacts with the subtle bodies comprising the human bio-field.
During Reiki self-treatment the energy delivered by this optical quartz energy healing wand was qualitatively different from that of conventional quartz Vogel wands, no matter how elaborate their faceting.

I had been working on the computer all day, and I directed the wand to the palm of my left hand. I immediately felt a strong energy in the bones in the back of my hand and in my fingers, and then the muscles of my hand relaxed noticeably.
When I directed the wand to my crown chakra, I immediately felt a strong flow of energy in my solar plexus, lower chakras, and even in my feet.

Used in meditation and energy healing, clear quartz stimulates the entire chakra system, stimulating the flow of prana, or Universal Life Force Energy, throughout the body mind and aura, and helps unite the seven lower chakras and the physical body with the energy frequency of the Higher Self, aligning the eighth chakra with the rest of the energy body.
The word crystal comes from the Greek word "krystallos", meaning ice. The Greeks found quartz crystals high in the frigid Alpine mountains, and Pliny (c. 62-113 A.D.), the foremost historian and mineralogist of his time, believed quartz crystal was ice that had frozen so hard it would never thaw.
One common legend is that crystals were originally heaven’s holy water, poured out by God into the aethers. Quartz is the low-temperature stable form of silicon dioxide or silica. Silicon and oxygen are the two most common elements in the Earth's crust. Quartz crystal is perhaps the most common mineral found on the face of the Earth. Sand and sandstone are considered “clastic” forms of quartz by mineralogists, meaning that they are formed of fragments of pre-existing rocks.
Although quartz makes up a large portion of the Earth's surface, there are only three places in the world that have enough high quality quartz crystal to warrant mining. These are Brazil, Madagascar, a small island off the coast of Africa, and Mt. Ida in the Ouachita Mountain range of Arkansas.
Quartz crystals have a unique ability to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy and vice versa. This is called the piezoelectric effect.
