This gorgeous, energetically powerful Tibetan Green Obsidian Earth Heart Pendant comes from the banks of the Yarlung Zangbo River. The Zangbo is the highest altitude major river in the world, originating in the Tamlung Tso Lake in Western Tibet, southeast of Mount Kailash, one of the most sacred sites on Planet Earth.

When we first worked with this pendant, before the designers had come up with a name years ago, I named it the Medicine Wheel because in working with it, I felt a strong connection to Native American traditions as well as a sense of deep protection, calm and access to my own Higher Wisdom, as well as being connected to a long line of Wisdom Keepers.

This lovely piece is perfectly transparent with four planes of facets which converge to a central point emanating the violet ray. It imparts both a sense of stability and a sense of being centered. Mineralogical and Metaphysical Properties of Green Obsidian

Obsidian is a silicon-rich glassy, vitreous mineral formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic material. Often quite dark and opaque, most often black, green, brown or white, obsidian also occurs, much less frequently, as the beautiful translucent or transparent gemstone quality material that is highly prized by jewelers, toolmakers and Lightworkers alike.
