This 4.375" long pale golden yellow colored Translucent Congo Citrine DT Wand, weighing 57 grams, or 2 ounces, possesses some unique energetic properties, making it a highly desirable crystal for meditation, Lightwork, crystal healing and for use in other modalities of energy medicine.
This Congo Citrine point is not heat treated, irradiated, or altered in any way. There are small dings on the termination tips, and this specimen has been priced accordingly.
Properties of Congo Citrine, also known as "Chi" Citrine
Citrine is a highly desirable crystalline gemstone which is a rare, more energetically powerful form of quartz crystal, characterized by a yellow color, ranging from white to deep copper. Citrine is less common in nature than its sister gemstone, amethyst, but both are found in quartz veins, as well as volcanic locations and elsewhere in nature.
The color of citrine derives from small amounts (approximately 40 parts per million) of iron in the quartz. The difference between citrine and amethyst is only the oxidation state of the iron present in the quartz. Citrine typically is formed when an amethyst becomes heated to the point where the iron held within the crystal undergoes a further stage of oxidation.
Citrine is considered by metaphysical rock hounds to be a stone of strong protection because of its ability to cleanse the aura. Crystal healers consider citrine to be one of only two minerals on Earth that do not hold or accumulate negative energy. Instead citrine is said to expel negative energy from the body and aura of the bearer, and dissipate that unwanted or detrimental energy once it has been expelled.
Like the darker orangey red Congo Citrine, this crystal is infused with small amounts of hematite, which create its coloration. Darker colored Congo Citrine is associated with the first or root chakra, and the second chakra.
The yellowish golden hue of this Congo Citrine indicates its affinity with the third chakra, normally associated with the color yellow, in the Western chakra system.
Golden Yellow Congo Citrine also works to energize the "hara" center, located about two fingers width below the navel, which is the location where the individual's "chi", "prana" or universal life force energy is stored. We call Congo Citrine "Chi Citrine" because of its amazing ability to replenish the body's storehouse of universal life force energy.
Chi Citrine works to equilibrate, cleanse and energize the root chakra and the second chakra, grounding the bearer, strengthening the bearer's self-confidence and sense of physical security, enhancing the sexual energy, the flow of kundalini, and the store of universal life force energy in the physical body.
Chi Citrine also activates, opens and energizes the third chakra, including the navel and solar plexus, stimulating both the physical body and the mind, increasing endurance and elevating energy levels while promoting emotional balance (unlike other stimulants such as caffeine). Citrine is an excellent stone for clearing the aura of negative emotions, which are often associated with and stored in the solar plexus, stomach and third chakra region.
Citrine is said to aid in digestion and to activate the thymus, which regulates our immune system, thus promoting health and well-being. In addition, citrine is said to provide a feeling of comfort and optimism. I must admit, that when I wear or work with citrine, I have a great sense of well being and protection.
In our experience, Chi Citrine also cleanses the emotional and etheric bodies, while it stimulates the holder’s vital energies and physical body. It imparts a strong sense of protection.
We have also found that Chi Citrine is a powerful tool for extracting negative energies, gently dissolving energy blocks, and releasing negative emotions during sessions.
Used in meditation, Chi Citrine stimulates the crown chakra, our doorway to Cosmic Consciousness, and helps unite the seven lower chakras and the physical body with the energy frequency of the Higher Self, aligning the eighth chakra with the rest of the energy body.
Used in energy healing, citrine is said to transmit the golden light of unity consciousness, which is tuned to the very highest vibrations of an open eighth chakra -- the chakra above the crown of the head, which is said to be to be the location of the Higher Self in the Western chakra system.

Chi Citrine is unique in its ability to simultaneously ground the bearer and connect the bearer to Higher Mind, Higher Worlds and Higher Wisdom. In addition the mineral composition of Chi Citrine makes it an ideal tool for connecting with Angelic Presences, and especially with Archangel Michael.
The intense coloration of this Congo Citrine comes from the high concentration of hematite (iron oxide) which mixed naturally with the quartz in the crystal during its formation, giving it the distinctive reddish orange to pale golden yellow color visible throughout the wand.
Esoteric Christianity makes a link between hematite and Archangel Michael, and a quartz crystal containing hematite can provide the bearer with a powerful connection to Michael, providing access to the Archangel's loving wisdom and power to dissolve illusion through the activity of his famous sword, the sword of Ultimate Truth.
During the Libran month, on October 8, in the northern hemisphere, the Draconid meteor showers will be visible. At this time of year, when sensational meteor showers, largely composed of iron, traditionally streak across the night sky, Esoteric Christian philosopher Rudolph Steiner’s clairvoyant vision saw the traditional flashing iron sword of Michael.
